When you take a photograph with an analog camera, light is exposed on a physical piece of film. After development, this piece of film becomes a negative, this can be used to print the same photograph over and over again.
In this photo series the step of taking a photograph with a camera is removed. The subject, that you see on these prints is three-dimensional, flexible and transparent. The subject is used as the negative itself and printed directly onto photographic paper during the process of enlarging. Because the prints lack of a standard negative it is impossible to reprint the same picture twice. Each print is unique and a result of a moment in time.
